Primary Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Answering Incoming Calls: Respond to incoming phone calls from healthcare providers, identifying the type of assistance they need and providing solutions to their issues.
- Resolving Issues: Focus on resolving issues on the first call, navigating through complex computer systems to identify the status of the issue and provide an appropriate response to the caller.
- Delivering Information: Deliver information and answer questions in a positive manner to facilitate strong relationships with providers and their staff.
- Documentation: Complete the documentation necessary to track provider issues and facilitate the reporting of overall trends.
- Compliance: Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent: A high school diploma or equivalent work experience is required.
- Computer Skills: Familiarity with computer and Windows PC applications, including the ability to navigate and learn new and complex computer system applications.
- Strong Communication Skills: Demonstrated ability to listen skillfully, collect relevant information, build rapport, and respond to customers in a compassionate manner.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Proven skilled in problem-solving to quickly assess the current state and formulate recommendations.
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:
- Experience in Customer Service: Previous experience in customer service, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Knowledge of Healthcare Products: Familiarity with healthcare products and multiple levels of benefits within each product.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications, such as Certified Customer Service Representative (CCSR) or Certified Healthcare Customer Service Representative (CHCSR).
