Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Greeting customers in a warm and friendly manner, whether by phone or in person
  • Acting as the company gatekeeper, providing a single point of contact for customers
  • Fostering and maintaining relationships with customers to improve retention rates
  • Responding to incoming phone calls and messages from customers in a timely and professional manner
  • Providing information and resolving issues to customers' satisfaction
  • Performing general CSR functions, including receiving inquiries, pricing quotations requests, entering and/or modifying customer orders, and acknowledging purchase orders received from customers
  • Maintaining incoming and outgoing CSR calls and emails with present customers, prospective customers, and arenaflex sales agents as required
  • Following up and maintaining customer inquiries on arenaflex's Duravar UHMW Products, including keeping records of prospective customers' names, product usage requirements, material quoted, date of contact, etc.
  • Following up on sales leads and pricing quotations generated through customer inquiries
  • Assisting in general office tasks, such as typing correspondence and quotations, filing, performing order entry and invoicing functions, and maintaining phone and fax lines as needed

Essential Qualifications

To be successful as a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years of experience in a customer service-related role
  • Ability to foster and maintain customer relationships
  • Proven customer support experience with the ability to adapt/respond to different types of situations
  • Basic computer skills and excellent phone disposition
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage numerous projects and priorities at once
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Positive and service-oriented attitude with the ability to deal with people in an uplifting manner
  • Ability to be a quick thinker and problem solver in a fast-paced and sometimes high-pressure environment

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • Experience in a customer service-related role
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in CRM software
  • Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Positive and service-oriented attitude with the ability to deal with people in an uplifting manner
