Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Customer & Membership Data Management Services Representative to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing membership data, and ensuring a seamless experience for our members. Key Responsibilities
* Provide exceptional customer service to members, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
- Manage membership data, ensuring accuracy and completeness of records
- Process membership applications, payments, and other related tasks
- Develop and implement a positive and inclusive membership application and fee intake process that informs and welcomes parents
- Create and provide communication materials to parents, school or community members/organizations
- Type correspondence and spreadsheets, maintain accurate computer records and generate reports
- Monitor and manage the flow of pedestrian traffic entering and leaving the building, with special attention to safety at all times
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
* 21+ years or older
- College or Degree (Associates/BA) preferred
- Experience working with children, Boys & Girls Club experience a plus++
- Education background in computer and internet systems, data entry or other related field
- Strong Technical skills: proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Publisher; online registration portal process
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Demonstrates the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Demonstrate ability in working with young people and parents
- Must possess necessary skills to properly instruct and guide youth
- Must be take initiative, be creative, resourceful, and motivated
- Ability to perform gross and fine motor activities required for typing, writing, simple manipulations such as telephone buttons, computer keyboards, fax machine buttons, etc.
- Visual acuity for accurate reading, typing, filing, and use of computer screen
- Ability to work at a rapid pace and where frequent interruptions and changes in plans or deadlines may occur
- Hearing is needed for purposes of business-related phone communications, public broadcasts, answering incoming calls, etc.
- Ability to lift and carry 15 to 50 lbs office supplies, audio equipment, and other items needed for the preparation and takedown of special events
- Ability to bend, twist, reach, stoop, squat for filing and retrieval of stored files and supplies
Preferred Qualifications
* Bilingual Spanish a must
- Experience with Vision Member Tracking
- Knowledge of emergency procedures (Fire, crisis, etc.)
- Ability to develop and implement a positive and inclusive membership application and fee intake process
