Onboarding Manager
About the Client Our client is a payment gateway provider servicing merchants across Europe, Latin America, Asia, and Africa. They offer online payment acceptance and mass payouts, supporting over 100 payment methods including cards, mobile wallets, and local alternatives. The platform features transaction cascading, recurring billing, fraud protection, and customizable checkout pages, serving online businesses of all sizes through redirect, server-to-server, and API integrations. Role Overview As an Onboarding Manager, you'll play a crucial role in managing the merchant and company onboarding processes with financial institutions. This position offers the opportunity to work fully remotely, coordinating multiple onboarding flows and ensuring smooth execution with internal and external stakeholders. You will be at the forefront of our client's expansion, handling high-impact tasks in a scaling fintech environment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage merchant and company onboarding processes with banks, PSPs, EMIs, and acquirers. Collect, organize, and prepare onboarding/KYB documentation. Communicate with compliance and onboarding teams of financial institutions. Prepare and submit onboarding packages. Handle follow-ups and operational requests from banks and partners. Coordinate multiple onboarding flows simultaneously. Assist with operational and reporting-related tasks when needed. Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth onboarding execution.
Requirements
Experience in onboarding high-risk merchants. 1+ years of experience in fintech, payments, PSP, crypto processing, and acquiring. Experience with merchant onboarding, KYB/KYC, or payment operations. Understanding of onboarding/compliance workflows with banks and financial institutions. Languages: English, Russian. Key Soft Skills Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to work independently in a remote environment. Collaborative mindset. Attention to detail. Problem-solving skills.
