Amazon Affiliate Specialist
The Role We are seeking an Amazon Affiliate Specialist to lead, manage, and scale Amazon affiliate and influencer programs across a portfolio of agency clients. This role is ideal for someone who understands Amazon Associates, Amazon Influencer/Affiliate workflows, creator partnerships, commission strategy, performance reporting, and client-facing account management. You will be responsible for building affiliate programs that drive measurable revenue, recruiting and managing creators, optimizing product campaigns, coordinating content briefs, and reporting performance across multiple brands. Amazon Associates allows creators, publishers, and influencers to monetize traffic using Amazon linking tools and earn from qualifying purchases, making compliance, tracking, and conversion-focused execution central to this role. Affiliate Program Strategy & Management Manage Amazon affiliate programs for multiple agency clients across categories such as CPG, beauty, wellness, home, lifestyle, electronics, and consumer products. Develop client-specific affiliate strategies, including commission recommendations, creator targeting, campaign calendars, content themes, and performance goals. Set up and manage Amazon Associates, Amazon Influencer, and related affiliate initiatives in accordance with Amazon’s operating agreement and program policies. Build campaign briefs that clearly communicate product positioning, key selling points, usage occasions, content angles, and required disclosures. Strong affiliate briefs should help creators understand the product, create authentic content, and communicate key messages effectively. Monitor affiliate performance by client, product, creator, campaign, traffic source, and content type. Creator Recruitment & Relationship Management Identify, recruit, onboard, and manage Amazon creators, influencers, publishers, bloggers, product reviewers, and social commerce affiliates. Build targeted creator lists based on niche, audience fit, content quality, engagement, conversion potential, and brand safety. Manage creator outreach, negotiation, follow-ups, gifting coordination, sample tracking, posting timelines, and relationship nurturing. Maintain a creator CRM with outreach status, content links, performance history, commission structure, notes, and next steps. Develop high-performing creator tiers based on revenue, consistency, content quality, and client fit. Campaign Execution Launch and manage affiliate campaigns across Amazon storefronts, product detail pages, influencer storefronts, social content, blogs, newsletters, and off-platform traffic sources. Coordinate with internal creative, paid media, marketplace, and client success teams to align affiliate campaigns with broader marketing initiatives. Ensure creators receive accurate Amazon links, product details, campaign requirements, usage guidelines, and promotional windows. Track creator deliverables including shoppable videos, product reviews, social posts, live shopping content, storefront updates, and short-form video placements. Support seasonal campaigns, product launches, deal events, Prime Day, holiday promotions, and category-specific pushes. Reporting & Optimization Analyze performance across clicks, conversion rate, ordered revenue, shipped revenue, commissions, ROAS contribution, creator-level revenue, and product-level performance. Prepare weekly, monthly, and campaign-end reports for clients with insights, learnings, and recommended next steps. Identify top-performing creators, products, content angles, traffic sources, and promotional offers. Recommend optimizations to commission rates, creator mix, product assortment, content briefs, storefront strategy, and campaign timing. Translate affiliate data into actionable client recommendations. Compliance & Quality Control Ensure affiliate activity follows Amazon Associates requirements, including proper use of special links, program content, disclosures, and participation rules. Amazon’s operating agreement notes that Associates must use the tagged link formats provided by Amazon and comply with program policies to receive commission income. Review creator content for brand alignment, disclosure language, claim accuracy, and compliance with client and Amazon guidelines. Maintain organized documentation for client approvals, creator agreements, product claims, campaign briefs, and reporting. Required Qualifications 2–4+ years of experience in affiliate marketing, influencer marketing, Amazon marketplace, creator partnerships, performance marketing, or social commerce. Hands-on experience with Amazon Associates, Amazon Influencer Program, Amazon storefronts, affiliate links, or creator-driven commerce. Experience managing multiple clients, campaigns, or brand accounts simultaneously. Strong understanding of creator outreach, relationship management, content briefing, and affiliate conversion strategy. Analytical ability to interpret affiliate performance data and turn it into client-facing recommendations. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage deadlines, deliverables, reporting cycles, and client expectations. Comfortable working in spreadsheets, affiliate dashboards, CRM tools, project management platforms, and reporting templates.
Preferred Qualifications
Agency experience strongly preferred. Experience with Amazon Seller Central, Amazon Brand Registry, Amazon Ads, Creator Connections, or marketplace growth strategy. Familiarity with social platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, Facebook, and blogs as affiliate traffic sources. Experience building creator pitch decks, affiliate briefs, campaign calendars, and client strategy decks. Understanding of FTC disclosure requirements and influencer compliance best practices. Experience managing gifting, sampling, product seeding, or creator incentive programs. Strong category knowledge in CPG, beauty, wellness, food, supplements, home goods, or consumer lifestyle products.
