As a Payments Implementation Consultant, you will deliver end-to-end deployment of enterprise payment platforms for leading banks and financial institutions. The role requires deep functional knowledge of payment processing combined with hands-on product implementation skills across environments. You should have experience implementing at least one major payment solution such as: Payment Hub, ACI Worldwide, Finastra, Bottomline, Temenos Payments, or similar. Familiarity with ISO 20022 migration, real-time payment schemes, and integration frameworks is essential. How you will Contribute You will own the implementation lifecycle—from environment setup to go-live—ensuring the solution meets client requirements and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

Environment Setup & Configuration: Install and configure Payment Hub components, set up routing rules, clearing/settlement parameters, and exception handling workflows. Product Customization: Parameterize payment types, cut-off schedules, liquidity rules, and compliance checks within the product. Integration: Implement interfaces with core banking, SWIFT, ACH, RTP, and fraud/AML systems using APIs, MQ/Kafka, and transformation tools. Data Mapping & Migration: Prepare mapping templates, execute data conversion scripts, and validate migrated transactions. Testing: Conduct functional, regression, and performance testing; troubleshoot defects and optimize configurations. Go-Live & Hypercare: Support cutover activities, monitor transaction flows, and resolve post-go-live issues. Collaboration: Work closely with client IT teams, vendor product specialists, and internal QA/DevOps teams. Documentation & Training: Prepare configuration guides, SOPs, and deliver client training sessions. Domain Expertise Strong understanding of payment orchestration, clearing/settlement, and compliance frameworks. Knowledge of ISO 20022, SWIFT, SEPA, ACH, RTP, and cross-border payment regulations. Technical Acumen Hands-on with APIs, integration frameworks, message transformation tools, and SQL for data validation. Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments, application servers, and deployment automation. At Zensar, we’re “experience-led everything”.
