Full Stack Product Engineer
Our client, a high-growth media and influencer AI-technology company, is looking for a Full Stack Product Engineer with exceptional frontend craftsmanship and strong backend fundamentals. You will own user-facing features end-to-end while shaping the visual language, usability, and scalability of a large design system. The role is heavily UI- and product-focused, requiring strong taste, attention to detail, and comfort making decisions without pixel-perfect specs. This is a direct hire role that is 100% remote. There is no application deadline for this role. Full Stack Product Engineer Responsibilities:
- Own features end-to-end including database schema design, APIs, frontend implementation, deployment, and monitoring
- Design, build, and evolve a large V2 design system with scalable, reusable components and clear governance
- Maintain and expand Storybook documentation, visual regression testing, and end-to-end test coverage
- Drive UI and UX quality across the product including typography, spacing, motion, micro-interactions, and responsive behavior
- Build core creator workflows such as onboarding, avatar creation UX, media libraries and tools, profiles, and subscription flows
- Contribute to backend and async workflows as needed using Redis- and workflow-based patterns
- Collaborate closely with product and engineering peers while maintaining strong individual ownership
Full Stack Product Engineer Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience building production web applications
- Strong expertise with React, modern CSS, and Tailwind-style utility systems
- Full tech stack you'll work with: React 18, Next.js 14, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, Radix UI, Storybook, NestJS 11, Prisma, PostgreSQL, Redis, Temporal, Playwright, Chromatic.
- Demonstrated product and design sensibility with an eye for polish and usability
- Experience building and maintaining component libraries or design systems at scale
- Meaningful backend experience including APIs, relational data models, and authentication flows
- Comfort owning ambiguous problems and iterating without detailed specifications
