Working Student - Finance & Accounting

Your responsibilities Support day-to-day bookkeeping and ensure transactions are recorded accurately and on time Help prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports together with the founders Assist with accounts payable and receivable – invoicing, payment tracking, supplier reconciliation Support budget monitoring and variance analysis: flag what's off, suggest why Help coordinate with our external accountant/Treuhänder and prepare documents for tax and audit processes Build and maintain Excel-based reporting templates that give the team financial clarity Assist with ad hoc financial analyses – profitability by product, channel economics, cost tracking Help keep our financial processes clean and documented as the company grows Your profile Currently enrolled in a relevant field (Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics – or equivalent) Solid understanding of bookkeeping fundamentals (double-entry, accruals, basic Swiss GAAP or OR knowledge is a plus) Strong Excel skills – you're comfortable with formulas, pivot tables, and structured data Precise, reliable, and someone who cares about getting the details right Able to work independently once you understand the task – you don't need someone checking every step Fluent in German and English (both used daily) Bonus: experience with accounting software (e.g. Bexio, Abacus) or Shopify financial reporting.
