Nuclear Engineer Role Context: As a Nuclear Engineer at Worley in Czechia, you will play a crucial role in the design, analysis, and implementation of nuclear power projects, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with regulatory requirements. Leveraging your expertise and technical skills, you will contribute to the successful delivery of nuclear engineering projects, supporting the expansion and optimization of nuclear power generation capabilities. You'll be: Working on different nuclear engineering tasks for vendor or licensee or in support of regulatory bodies. Review of NPP Site evaluation and characterization reports and support of owner in license application development. Technical review of NPP vendor’s design and PSAR for new build NPPs, support owner in approval process. Communication with local regulatory authorities to ensure smooth licensing process. Supporting owner in development of optimal design solutions for infrastructure and other objects of owner’s scope. Support to owner’s utility in organization of the NPP construction- or modernization project. Organize and provide Training and coaching of local engineers in NPP-technology and nuclear engineering tasks for nuclear facilities. You'll have: A University degree (Bachelor or master’s degree) in Nuclear or Power engineering Prior practical experience in nuclear industry or in Power-projects, knowledge of nuclear legislation and code requirements. Experience in construction, commissioning and/or operation of Power Plants would be an asset. Knowledge of NPP- or SMR-technologies, Prior experience in NPP siting, construction and commissioning processes would be beneficial. Previous experience in communication with nuclear regulatory authorities are beneficial, Good overview/knowledge of nuclear development in different countries Special Aspects This role can be delivered remotely or by hybrid working with attendance at one of our local offices, such as Pilsen, Czech Republic.
