Position Overview

We're seeking a skilled and experienced engineer with expertise in Copilot Studio and the Microsoft Power Platform to help design, build, and refine an AI-driven chat agent infrastructure. As an AI Chat Agent Developer, you'll leverage tools like Microsoft Copilot, Power Apps, and related technologies to deliver intelligent, user-friendly solutions that enhance customer engagement and operational efficiency. Responsibilities

As an AI Chat Agent Developer, your key responsibilities will include:

• Building, training, and refining the AI chat agent to deliver contextually appropriate, intelligent, and engaging responses, ensuring alignment with business requirements and end-user needs
• Collaborating on fine-tuning and retraining AI models based on analytics, user feedback, and evolving requirements
• Attending sprint planning sessions, collaborating in refining and estimating development tickets, and committing to completing assigned tickets within each sprint
• Attending weekly standup meetings and using collaboration tools like Slack and Jira to align with the team on project priorities and updates
• Creating comprehensive documentation for both technical and non-technical stakeholders, providing training sessions to ensure seamless handover for ongoing maintenance
• Accurately logging work hours and providing detailed task updates, ensuring accountability and transparency

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• Hands-on experience building and deploying AI solutions using Microsoft Copilot Studio or Power Virtual Agents
• Proficiency in customizing and fine-tuning Copilot models to meet specific business requirements
• Familiarity with large language models (LLMs) like GPT and integrating them with the Power Platform
• Experience with Power Apps and Power Automate for creating intelligent workflows and conversational bots
• Familiarity with Microsoft Dataverse for managing and securing data within the Power Platform ecosystem
• Proficiency with Git and version control workflows

Preferred Skills

While not required, the following skills will be beneficial in this role:

• Proficiency with cloud platforms like Azure or AWS for deploying AI models and services
• Experience with serverless computing (e.g., AWS Lambda, Azure Functions)
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., SQL Server, DynamoDB)
• Proficiency in modern frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Next.js

Compensation and Benefits

As a contractor or contract-to-hire employee, you'll enjoy a competitive hourly rate of $70-$90 USD per hour, with the potential to convert to full-time in the coming months. Our base compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including skills, education, certifications, and overall experience for this role.
