Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Part-Time Customer Service Specialist to join our team, working remotely from the comfort of your own home. As a key member of our customer service team, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our current clients and new prospects, processing policy change requests, maintaining knowledge of our products, and answering any questions our clients may have. Responsibilities

As a Part-Time Customer Service Specialist at arenaflex, you'll have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our customers' experiences. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Processing customer policy change requests in a timely and efficient manner
  • Securing all trailing documents from customers and ensuring accurate records are maintained
  • Completing Evidence of Insurance requests and verifying customer information
  • Documenting each customer contact in eAgent and maintaining accurate records
  • Taking premium payments from customers and ensuring timely payment processing
  • Verifying phone numbers, addresses, and email addresses with each customer contact and updating customer information
  • Returning all phone messages promptly and ensuring excellent communication with customers
  • Maintaining knowledge of new products and staying up-to-date on industry developments
  • Providing exceptional customer service and resolving customer complaints in a professional and courteous manner

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following essential qualifications:

  • MUST RESIDE/LIVE IN CA
  • Possess a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive, and resourceful, and be coachable
  • Possess an upbeat, positive, and enthusiastic attitude
  • Be a great self-starter with a sense of urgency
  • Proficiency in multi-tasking, follow-thru, and follow-up
  • Excellent Communication/interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be a significant advantage in this role:

  • Insurance industry experience or knowledge
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills
  • Experience working in a customer-facing role
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
