Job Responsibilities

As a Data Engineer on our Cyber ML/AI team, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale data systems that support our cyber security initiatives. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Participating in data warehousing across multiple databases and identifying opportunities to develop data schema within Cyber Security
• Reviewing and analyzing simple data control business, operational, or technical assignments or challenges that require research, evaluation, and selection of options and exercising independent judgment to guide medium-risk deliverables
• Presenting recommendations for resolving more complex data control conditions and exercising independent judgment while developing understanding of the business data policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
• Collaborating and consulting with technology colleagues, internal partners, and stakeholders, including internal and external clients as applicable

Required Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
• 2+ years of data engineering experience, or equivalent validated by one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or C#, with a minimum of 2 years of experience
• Experience working with data analysis tools, such as PowerBI, Tableau, Splunk, or similar
• Experience in building data engineering pipelines for diverse data sources (databases, APIs, etc.)

Desired Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be highly desirable:

• Minimum of 1 year of data analysis experience in the financial services industry
• Minimum of 1 year of cyber security experience
• Experience working with visualization tools, such as PowerBI, Tableau, Splunk, or similar
• Experience in building data engineering pipelines for diverse data sources (databases, APIs, etc.)
