Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Junior Geographic Information Systems Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our geographic data group, you'll be responsible for creating high-quality geographic data, designing engaging visualizations, and providing exceptional support to our clients. If you're passionate about geographic data and have a strong background in GIS, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities and Obligations

* Create high-quality geographic data for assigned areas using MapInfo and other relevant tools

• Design and develop engaging visualizations, reports, tables, and charts for clients and stakeholders
• Provide exceptional support to clients and stakeholders, including answering questions, providing data analysis, and creating custom reports
• Perform a variety of project-specific tasks, including data analysis, research, and data visualization
• Offer administrative support to team members, including scheduling meetings, booking travel, and managing office supplies
• Perform general office duties, including answering phones, greeting visitors, mail handling, and maintaining office equipment

Essential Qualifications and Skills

* Bachelor's degree in GIS, geography, or a related field

• Strong knowledge of geographic data systems and data analysis
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop and Illustrator
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

* Experience with MapInfo and other GIS software

• Strong data visualization skills
• Experience working with large datasets and performing data analysis
• Strong project management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
