Job Summary

As a Customer Service Representative - Work From Home New Jersey, you will be responsible for providing telephone support to patients receiving life-sustaining specialty drug therapy. You will be the primary point of contact for patients, answering their questions, resolving their concerns, and ensuring that their medication orders are processed efficiently and effectively. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide exceptional customer service to patients and internal partners via phone, email, and other communication channels

  • Coordinate and process new patient medication orders and reorders, including verifying and revivifying benefits
  • Translate and enter new or refill prescriptions into the pharmacy information system
  • Communicate and collect copay amounts, obtain authorizations, and work with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and internal teams to screen, identify, resolve, and defer orders with accounts receivable or clinical issues
  • Demonstrate compassionate, genuine care for patients and customers, and provide support and guidance to resolve their concerns
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure that financial and clinical expectations are met prior to fulfillment

Essential Qualifications

* One year of experience in a customer service role handling and resolving a high volume of complex customer needs over the phone

  • One year of work experience with Windows-based applications, including Windows, Microsoft Office, internet navigation, and email applications
  • One year of computer keyboarding experience, skills, and aptitude
  • Verifiable high school diploma or equivalent

* Healthcare work experience and familiarity with benefits, insurance, prescriptions, and medical terminology

  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to resolve complex issues and make sound decisions

  • Proficiency in Windows-based applications, including Windows, Microsoft Office, and email applications

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

* Competitive salary range of $17.00 - $29.88 per hour
