As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be part of a dynamic team that's dedicated to providing a seamless and personalized experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:
- Greeting customers and patients in a friendly and welcoming manner, offering assistance with items and services
- Resolving customer issues and answering questions to ensure a positive customer experience
- Modeling and promoting customer service best practices with all colleagues to deliver an exceptional customer experience
- Providing clients with friendly, courteous, and efficient assistance
- Recommending products and services to customers and suggesting complementary items
- Registering customer purchases on assigned sales register, collecting cash, and dispensing change as required
- Processing voids, returns, delays, discounts, and trades as necessary
- Maintaining counters and retail areas clean and well-organized, taking stock, and keeping records
- Checking in and pricing stock as required or as directed by senior supervisor or shift leader
- Executing organizational resource protection methods to identify and minimize loss
- Ensuring compliance with state and local regulations regarding controlled items (e.g., tobacco and pharmaceutical products)
- Developing and maintaining displays, including seasonal, promotional, and special displays
- Completing resets and changes as directed
- Assisting with the separation of food items (e.g., raw foods from pre-cooked) and product placement as determined by policies and procedures
- Providing customer support in the photo area, including digital photo services, banner printing, and creative machine services
- Taking on web order responsibilities (screening orders in Picture Care, handling orders, and delivering orders to customers as they arrive at the store)
- Assisting with external and internal support by ensuring a clean, neat, and organized store condition and appearance
- Adhering to all company policies and procedures; maintaining positive relationships with colleagues
Preparation and Self-Improvement
As a Customer Service Representative, you'll have the opportunity to:
- Attend training and complete PPLs (Performance and Productivity Learning) as directed by management or assigned by corporate
- Develop your skills and knowledge in customer service, retail operations, and pharmacy support
Essential Capabilities
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- To be conversant in reading, writing, and communicating in English (except in Puerto Rico)
- To be able to work an adaptable schedule, including nights and weekend hours
Preferred Capabilities
While not required, we prefer candidates with:
- At least six months of experience in a retail environment
- Previous work experience with arenaflex (formerly known as Walgreens)
