Job Summary
As a Senior Customer Service Associate on our USB, PRT Participant Relations Team, you will act as an advocate for our customers, processing high-volume transactions with accuracy and timeliness. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing incoming research requests and responding to annuitants in writing or by phone according to our procedures
- Reviewing, analyzing, and preparing reports based on data obtained from team performance
- Assisting in daily workflow activities to ensure timely completion of cases
- Building relationships with other business partners
- Assisting our Contact Center by handling inbound phone calls from customers, as needed
- May lead and participate in special projects as needed
- Act as an SME for various process flows
- Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives
Key Responsibilities
* Process high-volume transactions with accuracy and timeliness
- Respond to customer inquiries in writing or by phone according to our procedures
- Analyze and prepare reports based on data obtained from team performance
- Assist in daily workflow activities to ensure timely completion of cases
- Build relationships with other business partners
- Handle inbound phone calls from customers, as needed
- Participate in special projects and act as an SME for various process flows
- Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree or minimum of 1-2 years of equivalent work experience
- Experience within a transaction processing environment, where quality and productivity standards need to be met, is a plus
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Successful attention to detail
- Flexibility to work overtime when required
- Strong decision-making/problem-solving skills
- Ability to disseminate and analyze data
- Can-do attitude
- Flexible, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work both independently and as a standout colleague
- Computer proficient – accurate keying skills and Microsoft Office skills, specifically Excel and Word
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in the insurance industry
- Knowledge of insurance products and services
- Experience with data analysis and reporting
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work in a team environment and build relationships with colleagues and customers
Work Environment and Culture
* This is a remote opportunity, and you will be working from home
