Key Responsibilities
As a Telecommunications Customer Support Representative, you'll be responsible for:
- Identifying, researching, and resolving technical issues related to customer internet connections
- Responding to exhibitor inquiries and troubleshooting through various channels, including phone calls, in-person interactions, and emails
- Processing customer orders and selling value-added services
- Collecting payments and assisting with financial transactions
- Supporting field offices and providing on-site assistance during events as needed
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless service delivery
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends and developments to provide expert advice to customers
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in relevant fields is a plus
- 1-3 years of customer service experience, with a focus on exhibitor services
- Knowledge of data networking products and services is advantageous
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong emphasis on telephone customer service
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and exercise sound judgment
- Successful completion of a background check is required as part of the hiring process
