Key Responsibilities
As an Experienced Pharmacy Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:
- Providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience for our patients and customers
- Registering sales and processing transactions efficiently and accurately
- Assisting pharmacists with prescription processing, including retrieving, counting, and pouring pharmaceuticals
- Maintaining accurate records and data, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
- Providing support with inventory management, including ordering, unpacking, and storing shipments of pharmaceuticals
- Constructing and maintaining presentations, including promotional, seasonal, and notable displays
- Assisting with separation of food items and product placement, ensuring a clean and organized store environment
- Providing customer support in the photo location, including digital passport image service and promotional photo merchandise
- Assisting with exterior and interior maintenance, ensuring a clean and welcoming store environment
Customer Experience
As a key member of our pharmacy team, you'll be responsible for:
- Engaging customers and patients through greeting and offering assistance with products and services
- Resolving customer complaints and answering questions to ensure a positive customer experience
- Fostering a culture of excellent customer service, including interpersonal skills and Walgreens carrier tendencies
- Sharing customer service best practices with team members to ensure a consistent and exceptional customer experience
Operations
As an Experienced Pharmacy Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:
- Providing customers with courteous, friendly, and efficient service
- Recommending items for sale and suggesting complementary products
- Registering customer purchases and processing transactions efficiently and accurately
- Maintaining counters and cabinets clean and well-merchandised, taking inventory and keeping records
- Performing tasks as assigned by Pharmacy supervisor, personnel Pharmacist, and store manager, including using pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug data
Education & Personal Development
As a valued member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to:
- Earn and maintain percent certification through the unique percent education program and/or state required certification/registration
- Attend training and complete PPLs as assigned by supervisor or company, acquiring continuing training credit
- Stay up-to-date with the latest healthcare and pharmacy trends and knowledge
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- To be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico)
- To be willing to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:
- Previous experience in a pharmacy or customer service role
- Knowledge of pharmacy systems and store systems
- Certification in pharmacy or customer service
