Work from home Full-time role Hiring

Company Overview Seraphina Therapeutics is a San Diego-based consumer health company dedicated to discovering and developing novel, science-backed, natural products that protect our health as we age. Our team consists of leaders in medicine and public health, healthy aging science, and natural health products — a team of nerdy do-gooders driven by purpose, curiosity, and impact. What makes Seraphina Therapeutics unique and what is fatty15? In 2015, veterinarians studying aging Navy dolphins discovered that higher levels of a trace fatty acid, C15:0, were linked to healthier aging, a finding later shown to apply to humans as well. After a decade of research and more than 100 peer-reviewed studies, C15:0 was identified as the first essential fatty acid discovered in over 90 years, leading scientists, with Office of Naval Research funding, to develop a pure, patented, and bioavailable form now used as the sole ingredient in fatty15. Designed to support healthy aging, fatty15 strengthens cells and delivers wide-ranging benefits across metabolic, cognitive, liver, immune, and red blood cell health, with most customers reporting noticeable improvements within 16 weeks. Created by Seraphina Therapeutics, fatty15 has earned top industry recognition, thousands of five-star reviews, and a rapidly growing customer base, positioning it for significant scale in 2026. Role Overview As our Shopify Ecommerce Operations Specialist, you'll play a critical role in supporting the day-to-day execution and operational health of fatty15.com. This is a highly hands-on role focused on ensuring the site experience runs smoothly, promotions launch accurately, products are properly merchandised, and the customer journey remains optimized as we scale. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys operating directly inside Shopify, managing ecommerce execution details, and collaborating cross-functionally to keep the business moving quickly and efficiently. You’ll work closely with marketing, creative, operations, analytics, and external development partners to support ongoing site improvements and ecommerce initiatives. We’re looking for someone who is highly detail-oriented, organized, proactive, and comfortable operating in a fast-moving DTC environment where priorities evolve quickly and ownership matters. What You'll OwnShopify Site Operations Support day-to-day Shopify site management including product setup, collection management, tagging, merchandising updates, homepage updates, and content publishing. Help ensure the site experience is accurate, organized, and optimized across devices. Product Launches & Promotions Execute and QA product launches, promotional campaigns, discount setups, and merchandising updates within Shopify. Ensure promotions launch correctly, expire cleanly, and provide a seamless customer experience. Site QA & Customer Experience Perform ongoing site QA across product pages, collections, navigation, landing pages, subscriptions, and promotions. Identify and escalate issues proactively to maintain a high-quality customer experience. Merchandising & Product Organization Support product merchandising, taxonomy, filtering, collections, and product discoverability to improve the customer journey and conversion performance. Ecommerce Reporting & Performance Support Monitor key ecommerce metrics and site performance trends including conversion, AOV, subscription performance, and merchandising effectiveness. Help surface insights and opportunities for optimization. Developer & Cross-Functional Coordination Partner with external developers and internal teams to support site updates, troubleshooting, testing, and implementation of new features or enhancements. Help coordinate tasks, QA updates, and communicate priorities clearly. What You Bring

  • 2–5 years of ecommerce operations or site merchandising experience, preferably within a Shopify environment

  • Strong attention to detail and QA mindset — you catch issues before customers do
  • Experience supporting ecommerce launches, promotions, and fast-moving campaign execution
  • Familiarity with ecommerce best practices related to merchandising, SEO fundamentals, and customer experience
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with marketing, creative, analytics, operations, and development teams
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Self-directed and comfortable operating independently in a lean, high-growth environment

Additional Qualifications

  • Experience with Shopify Plus
  • Experience with subscription platforms such as Recharge
  • Familiarity with ecommerce analytics tools such as GA4, Shopify Analytics, or Looker Studio
  • Exposure to NetSuite, 3PL coordination, or ecommerce operational workflows
  • Basic familiarity with HTML/CSS or Shopify themes is a plus, but not required
  • Prior DTC, wellness, beauty, apparel, or consumer brand experience preferred

What Makes Someone Successful Here You thrive in fast-moving, high-growth environments where execution, adaptability, and attention to detail matter. You enjoy being hands-on inside the business and take pride in making sure launches, promotions, merchandising updates, and site experiences run smoothly. You’re proactive, organized, and solutions-oriented. You notice issues early, communicate clearly, and work collaboratively to solve problems quickly. You’re equally comfortable managing day-to-day ecommerce execution while supporting larger operational improvements as the business scales. Most importantly, you take ownership. You don’t wait to be told something is broken — you notice it, fix it, and help prevent it from happening again.
