Job Title: Healthcare Insurance & Patient AR Specialist I - II Job Location: Remote, MUST BE based in Dallas, TX Job Type: Fulltime Your new career awaits you... We are looking for an analytical Accounts Receivable professional to assist our accounting department as it receives, processes, and collects on goods sold or services rendered. In this role, you will be required to review account information, correct discrepancies, and ensure that accounts are properly billed and that payments are collected. To succeed as an accounts receivable professional, you should be a skilled and thorough researcher with excellent communication and record-keeping skills. You should be detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated with strong math and computer skills. Responsibilities:
- Research inquiries regarding patient balances and outstanding insurance claims.
- Resolve delinquent accounts; prepare payment plans and monitor adherence to plans by guarantor.
- Post data; verify and perform mathematical computations; maintain files.
- Compose and type routine correspondence, memos, letters, appeals, etc.
- Work with practices within the organization in getting any necessary or requested documentation for patients, insurance carriers or other areas.
- Identify patient accounts for collection action when delinquent or when unable to contact patient or guarantor.
- Speak to patients to provide understanding and explanation of insurance processing and balances due on their account.
- Contact payors/insurance companies when needed to fulfill practice questions/requests.
- Enter contact notes related to all communications regarding account including phone, email, letter, spark, TEAMS, and all other methods of communications between patient, guarantor, insurance carrier, practice, and surgeon.
- Provide the utmost level of customer service to the practice and patients.
- Call and communicate with patients via the phone.
- Maintain a minimum of 30 accounts worked per shift, either from emails, patient calls or work queue report provided.
- Return all practice and patient calls, emails and communication within 48 hours of receipt.
Required Qualifications:
- At least three (3) years’ experience in a healthcare or dental call center to include patient & insurance AR experience.
- Strong understanding of dental and medical insurance.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Proficient in Microsoft office applications including Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Excellent communication, research, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- High level of accuracy, efficiency, and accountability.
- Attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in an oral surgery setting preferred but not required.
Schedule:
- Monday – Friday
- 2 WEEK TRAINING REQUIRED IN OFFICE
- 1:00pm to 10:00pm to manage Hawaii based accounts

Special Requirements:
- Working on-site is essential to the function of this position.
- Must be able to sit behind a desk 80% of the time at minimum.
- Physical requirements include driving, flying, sitting, and standing for extended periods of time.
