About the Role

As an Experienced Area Manager, you'll play a key role in leading a team of hourly workforce and driving success in our WW Operations network. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and Motivating Your Team: You'll be responsible for supporting, mentoring, and motivating your hourly workforce to achieve exceptional results in safety, quality, attendance, and performance.
  • Maintaining Customer Expectations: You'll work closely with our support teams to ensure that customer orders are delivered on time, to the right location, and with the highest level of quality.
  • Collaborating with Support Teams: You'll collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources to develop plans that meet business objectives and drive results.
  • Physical Demands: You'll be required to lift up to 49 pounds, frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach, and stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts.
  • Work Environment: You'll work in an environment with variable temperatures and weather conditions, and may be exposed to loud noises and variable temperatures.

Key Responsibilities and Job Elements

* Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce to achieve exceptional results in safety, quality, attendance, and performance.

  • Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises to ensure that customer expectations are met.
  • Collaborate with all support teams, including Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources, to develop plans that meet business objectives and drive results.
  • Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
  • Stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts.
  • Work in an environment with variable temperatures and weather conditions.
  • Continuously climb and descend stairs (applies to sites with stairs).

Essential and Preferred Qualifications

* Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field preferred.

  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in operations management, leadership, or related field; experience in logistics, supply chain management, or e-commerce preferred.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills; ability to motivate and inspire team members; experience with safety, quality, and productivity management; ability to work in a fast-paced environment with variable temperatures and weather conditions.
  • Certifications: OSHA certification or equivalent preferred.
