Job Responsibilities
As a Full Stack Data Engineer at arenaflex, you will be responsible for designing, building, and implementing data infrastructure and business intelligence solutions that meet the needs of our clients. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and design data structures and solutions that meet those needs
- Partnering with engineering teams to develop and implement data pipelines, data warehouses, and business intelligence tools
- Designing and implementing ETL processes using AWS and other cloud-based technologies
- Developing and implementing anomaly detection systems to proactively identify and address potential data quality issues
- Enabling big-scale analytics through the use of EMR and other large-data technologies
- Establishing and enforcing data quality practices that ensure high-quality data across the organization
- Identifying opportunities for innovation and implementing new technologies and solutions to drive business growth
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- 3+ years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on cloud-based technologies and business intelligence solutions
- Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines
- Experience with SQL and one or more query languages (e.g., SQL, PL/SQL, DDL, MDX, HiveQL, SparkSQL, Scala)
- Experience with one or more scripting languages (e.g., Python, KornShell)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with complex data structures and business intelligence solutions
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, experience with large-data technologies such as Hadoop, Hive, Spark, and EMR would be a significant advantage in this role. Additionally, experience with data warehouse technical structures, infrastructure components, ETL, and reporting/analytic tools and environments would be beneficial.
