Job Summary

As a Part-Time Remote Data Entry Clerk at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our company's databases. You'll work closely with our employees and customers to collect information, capture data, and resolve any errors or discrepancies that may arise. Responsibilities

As a Part-Time Remote Data Entry Clerk, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining database accuracy by entering new and updated customer and account information in a timely and efficient manner
  • Preparing source data for computer entry by compiling and sorting information, and establishing entry priorities
  • Processing customer and account source documents by reviewing data for deficiencies and resolving any issues that may arise
  • Entering customer and account data by inputting alphabetic and numeric information on keyboard or optical scanner according to screen format
  • Maintaining data entry requirements by following data program techniques and procedures
  • Verifying entered customer and account data by reviewing, correcting, deleting, or reentering data
  • Combining data from both systems when account information is incomplete
  • Purging files to eliminate duplication of data
  • Testing customer and account system changes and upgrades by inputting new data
  • Securing information by completing data base backups

Education and Experience Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Data entry experience or related office experience
  • Some basic computer courses may be preferred by some employers
