Minimum Qualifications: To succeed in this role, you'll need: * 10 years of experience with cloud native architecture in a customer-facing or support role * 8 years of experience in system design and one programming language (Java, C++, Python, etc.) * 3 years of experience using ML/AI and building solutions * Experience with edge computing, distributed systems, or data center transformation * Experience engaging with, and presenting to, technical stakeholders and executive leaders * Ability to communicate in English and Portuguese fluently in order to interact with local stakeholders Preferred Qualifications: If you have: * A Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, a technical field, or equivalent practical experience * Experience in architecting and developing software or infrastructure for scalable, distributed systems * Experience in data and information management as it relates to big data trends and issues within businesses * Experience managing distributed teams on large-scale programs globally * Ability to learn quickly, understand, and work with new emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the cloud/IT technology space About the Job: As a Customer Engineer in arenaflex Distributed Cloud, you'll work closely with the sales and pre-sales teams to offer and deliver complex distributed cloud solutions. You'll be the technical expert with strategic global customers, leading conversations on cutting-edge cloud offers, and driving decisions to align with arenaflex services and delivery team innovation and capabilities. Responsibilities: Your key responsibilities will include: * Creating and executing on new cloud offers, creating the business case, getting alignment from respective teams, addressing budget needs, getting executive buy-in, securing customers, driving customers to prove offers, and scaling offers to field once proven successful * Being a technical advisor and point of contact for strategic customers and accounts with non-standard requests and innovation needs * Building and maintaining strategic relationships with senior cross-functional key stakeholders in customer and/or partner organizations to deliver or manage quality technical solutions and services * Strategizing surrounding solution code development in collaboration with internal or external developers/users/partners/clients/stakeholders (as needed) * Traveling to customer sites, conferences, and other related events as required, acting as a public advocate for arenaflex Work Environment and Company Culture: At arenaflex, we're committed to creating an inclusive and respectful work environment where everyone has the opportunity to succeed.
