Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeping Software Customer Support Specialist to join our remote team. As a key member of our customer support team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch support to our customers, helping them navigate our bookkeeping software, and resolving any technical issues they may encounter. Responsibilities

As an Experienced Bookkeeping Software Customer Support Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing exceptional customer support via phone, resolving technical issues, and answering questions related to bookkeeping software processes, ledger entry, navigation, and other troubleshooting needs
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or comparable accounting software is required
  • Utilizing your bookkeeping and accounting expertise to assist customers with AR, AP, journal entries, reconciliation, and other related tasks
  • Demonstrating a strong ownership of customer issues, taking control of the situation, and providing confident resolution
  • Cross-selling relevant products while addressing customer concerns
  • Maintaining a high level of technical proficiency and staying up-to-date with the latest software updates and features
  • Collaborating with internal teams to resolve complex customer issues and improve overall customer satisfaction

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or comparable accounting software
  • Bookkeeping and accounting expertise, including AR, AP, journal entries, reconciliation, and other related tasks
  • Customer service experience and a demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality customer service over the phone in a virtual or "brick and mortar" call center environment
  • Strong ownership of customer issues, taking control of the situation, and providing confident resolution
  • Tech savvy and avid computer user
  • Ability to communicate with a friendly tone and professional demeanor
  • Quiet, uninterrupted space and an organized desk area
  • Personal computer (no tablet), broadband internet connection (at least 10 Mbps download speed), and valid antivirus software installed, running, and up-to-date
  • Wired USB headset with microphone

Work Environment and Technology Requirements

As a remote worker, you will need to meet the following requirements:

  • Quiet, uninterrupted space and an organized desk area
  • Personal computer (no tablet), broadband internet connection (at least 10 Mbps download speed), and valid antivirus software installed, running, and up-to-date
  • Wired USB headset with microphone
  • Windows 10 or Windows 11 operating system (Mac users: Mac acceptance is limited to Intel-based machines with Windows 11 installed via Apple's Boot Camp utility)

Important Information

* For this program, you must live and work from the United States, except CA, NY, PA, WA. We are currently unable to work with contractors residing in California, New York, Pennsylvania, or Washington.

  • Contractors must also successfully pass a criminal background check.
  • The relationship between you and arenaflex is a contractual relationship. You will remain an independent contractor for the duration of this program assignment. arenaflex will not be responsible for withholding taxes on your earnings while contracted with arenaflex.
