Job Overview

As an Automotive Sales Web Chat Agent, you will play a critical role in representing our dealer clients in a favorable light, transforming online interactions into valuable leads that contribute to revenue generation. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Addressing a diverse range of customer inquiries through online chat, providing precise information regarding products and services.
  • Delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring that every interaction is positive, professional, and tailored to the customer's needs.
  • Assisting in scheduling appointments by honing in on necessary details, such as customer preferences and availability.
  • Cultivating and keeping updated a comprehensive knowledge base of our expanding products and services, ensuring that you are always up-to-date on the latest offerings.
  • Gathering customer contact information to support lead generation and client evaluation, helping us to build strong relationships with our customers.
  • Providing summarized interactions based on customer requirements for client assessment, ensuring that our dealer clients have a clear understanding of customer needs and preferences.

Key Responsibilities

* Address a diverse range of customer inquiries through online chat, responding promptly and professionally to ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Deliver precise information regarding products and services via chat communications, ensuring that customers have a clear understanding of our offerings.
  • Assist in scheduling appointments by honing in on necessary details, such as customer preferences and availability.
  • Cultivate and keep updated a comprehensive knowledge base of our expanding products and services, ensuring that you are always up-to-date on the latest offerings.
  • Gather customer contact information to support lead generation and client evaluation, helping us to build strong relationships with our customers.
  • Provide summarized interactions based on customer requirements for client assessment, ensuring that our dealer clients have a clear understanding of customer needs and preferences.

Required Skills

* Excellent customer service capabilities and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.

  • Strong decision-making and analytical skills are essential, as you will need to navigate complex customer inquiries and provide accurate solutions.
  • Competence in typing, with a minimum speed of 35 WPM (40 WPM preferred), to ensure that you can respond promptly and efficiently to customer inquiries.
  • Basic proficiency in internet navigation and window-based computer applications, including our proprietary CRM system.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, as you will be interacting with customers through online chat and providing clear, concise information.
  • Adaptability to dynamic environments, showcasing a positive and professional demeanor, even in high-pressure situations.

Qualifications

* Prior experience in retail customer service or the automotive sector is preferred, though not mandatory.

  • Must possess fluency in English, both written and spoken, to ensure effective communication with customers.
  • Ability to successfully complete a background check is required, as we prioritize the safety and security of our customers and employees.
  • Experience in an office environment, call center, or customer service role is advantageous (2+ years), as you will need to navigate complex customer inquiries and provide accurate solutions.
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification is necessary, as we prioritize education and training in our hiring process.
