What You'll Do

As a Full Stack Data Engineer at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable, efficient, and secure data pipelines that drive business growth and customer satisfaction. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and developing data pipelines that integrate with various data sources, including cloud-based services and on-premises systems
  • Developing and deploying data processing and analytics applications using a range of technologies, including Hadoop, Spark, and Python
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop data-driven solutions that meet those needs
  • Ensuring data quality, integrity, and security through rigorous testing and validation
  • Developing and maintaining documentation for data pipelines and applications
  • Collaborating with data scientists and analysts to develop and deploy data-driven insights and recommendations

What You'll Bring

To be successful in this role, you'll need to bring a combination of technical expertise, business acumen, and collaboration skills. Here are some of the key qualifications and skills we're looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on designing and developing scalable, efficient, and secure data pipelines
  • Proficiency in a range of programming languages, including Python, Java, and Scala
  • Experience with cloud-based services, including AWS and GCP
  • Strong understanding of data processing and analytics technologies, including Hadoop, Spark, and NoSQL databases
  • Experience with data visualization tools, including Tableau and Power BI
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Experience with agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban

Ideal Qualifications

  • Experience with data governance and data quality frameworks
  • Knowledge of data warehousing and business intelligence tools
  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms, including AWS Lake Formation and GCP BigQuery
  • Strong understanding of data security and compliance regulations, including GDPR and HIPAA
  • Experience with DevOps and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
  • Strong knowledge of data visualization tools, including D3.js and Matplotlib
