Job Summary
As an Online Data Entry Clerk / Online Chat Assistant, you will play a critical role in supporting our business operations by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to inform business decisions. You will work closely with our team of experts to develop and maintain coverage, provide departmental insights on efficiency, and create data-driven solutions to drive business growth. Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain coverage to support business procedures and data-driven decision making
- Create and implement data quality specifications and management to ensure data integrity and accessibility
- Design and develop new data pipelines from source devices to the Data Warehouse
- Collaborate with Monitoring and Business Analysts to understand business needs, maintain complete records, and obtain business sign-offs for all reporting requirements
- Develop, maintain, and establish scalable data pipelines and data architecture
- Utilize data storytelling principles to create clear and impactful data visualizations using Power BI
- Help automate existing business processes and improve exception-based reporting
- Partner with IT and business stakeholders to discover, analyze, and obtain new data variables (data mining)
- Evaluate large datasets to identify relevant patterns and provide actionable insights
- Validate data for accuracy by verifying against requirements
- Research and remediate data errors
- Participate in the Data Governance program by updating the data dictionary and plan & methods
- Examine and validate metrics to ensure effectiveness and provide recommendations to team leaders on areas that require attention
Essential Qualifications
* 2 years of experience performing comprehensive data analysis
- Strong experience working with Power BI, including:
+ Developing dashboards and reports + Creating and managing datasets + Utilizing DAX, SQL, and M Code + Working with different data visualization objects, such as Dimensions, Solutions, Filters, Computed Fields, and Parameters
- Knowledge of data modeling principles and experience working with star schema or other data modeling techniques
- Experience with ETL tools, such as SSIS, Power BI Dataflows, or other big data integrations
- Strong problem-solving skills with statistical analysis and large data sets
- Experience with SSMS (SQL Server Management Studio), Power BI, and Power Query
- Familiarity with Smartsheets and other project management tools
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with data governance and data quality management
- Knowledge of data warehousing and business intelligence concepts
- Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or QlikView
- Familiarity with agile project management methodologies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
