Key Responsibilities
As a Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Working with partners in cross-functional teams to identify and explain business or product inquiries to respond to
- Providing feedback to interpret and refine business inquiries into actionable investigation, assessment metrics, or numerical models
- Utilizing custom data frameworks or existing data models as fitting, utilizing specific data
- Planning and assessing models to numerically communicate and solve defined issues with limited reference points
- Gathering data, business objectives, needs, and organizational setting around the inquiries to address, as well as the current and forthcoming data framework
- Owning the process of gathering, extracting, and accumulating data across sources using applicable tools (e.g., SQL, R, Python)
- Freely designing, re-structuring, or potentially approving data to ensure quality, and reviewing the dataset to ensure it is prepared for analysis
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., computer science, mathematics, statistics)
- 1 year of work experience utilizing analysis to tackle product or business issues, coding (e.g., Python, R, SQL), querying databases or statistical analysis, or 3 years of work experience with a PhD degree
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., SQL, R, Python)
Preferred Qualifications
* 3 years of work experience utilizing analysis to tackle product or business issues, coding (e.g., Python, R, SQL), querying databases or statistical analysis, or 6 years of work experience with a PhD degree
- Experience working with large datasets and data visualization tools
- Familiarity with data management systems and data quality control processes
- Strong understanding of data governance and data security principles
