Job Summary

As a Customs Trade Coordinator, you'll be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely customs clearance for our clients' shipments. You'll work closely with our internal teams, clients, and government agencies to resolve any issues that may arise during the clearance process. Your attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and ability to work under pressure will be essential in this role.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide exceptional customer service to clients, responding to queries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner

  • Process customs clearance for shipments, ensuring accurate and timely completion of all necessary documentation
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of shipments, including customs documentation and other relevant information
  • Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and government agencies to resolve any issues that may arise during the clearance process
  • Process organization financier shipments and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations
  • May be required to handle distant filings and other administrative tasks as needed
  • Ensure all service and operational strategies are followed, maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., logistics, business, international trade)

  • No industry experience required, but a minimum of 6 months of work experience is preferred
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Viewpoint, and other relevant software
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and handle high volumes of work
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with clients, transporters, intermediaries, government agencies, and internal staff
  • Paid training provided

Preferred Qualifications

* HS Certificate or GED

  • Industry experience in logistics, customs clearance, or a related field
  • Familiarity with customs regulations and procedures
  • Experience working with various systems and reference materials
  • Ability to handle time-sensitive work and prioritize tasks effectively
