Job Summary
As a Part-Time Remote Insurance Customer Service Representative, you will be the first point of contact with our customers, providing exceptional service and support. Your primary responsibilities will include answering phone lines, processing customer policy change requests, taking premium payments, and generating insurance quotes. You will also be responsible for maintaining knowledge of new products and services, as well as sharing training and education knowledge with team members.
Key Responsibilities
* Answer phone lines and provide exceptional customer service and support
- Process customer policy change requests, including updating policy information and communicating with customers
- Take premium payments from customers, ensuring accurate and timely processing
- Generate insurance quotes, using arenaflex's quoting systems and expertise
- Maintain knowledge of new products and services, staying up-to-date on industry developments and trends
- Share training and education knowledge with team members, promoting a culture of continuous learning and growth
- Return all phone messages promptly, ensuring timely communication with customers
- Treat each customer contact as a cross and up-sell opportunity, including financial products

- Follow up with customers to assure satisfaction, respond to queries, solicit further sales, and solve or refer problems
- Work independently and as part of a team, collaborating with colleagues to achieve shared goals
- Handle customer renewals, ensuring accurate and timely processing
- Develop and maintain client relationships, building trust and loyalty with arenaflex's valued customers
Essential Qualifications
* A Property & Casualty insurance license is required
- Proficiency in arenaflex's quoting systems and experience with Farmers Insurance quoting systems is preferred
- Possess a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive, and resourceful, with a coachable attitude
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to multi-task, follow-thru, and follow-up
- Confident, self-starter who works well independently, with a positive attitude and a willingness to take initiative
- Ability to tactfully handle stressful and difficult situations, with strong problem-solving capabilities
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to handle customer rejection and build relationships with customers
- Ability to work well with other employees and be a team player, with a positive attitude and a willingness to collaborate
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in the insurance industry, with a focus on customer service and support
- Knowledge of arenaflex's products and services, as well as industry trends and developments
- Proficiency in arenaflex's quoting systems and experience with Farmers Insurance quoting systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think outside the box and take initiative
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines
