About the Role
As a Customer Engineer (SQL Server & Data Platform Engineer) at arenaflex, you will design, optimize, and support modern database solutions. This role emphasizes high availability, performance tuning, and leading cloud migrations to Azure.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and optimize SQL Server platforms, focusing on performance, high availability, and failover clustering.
- Lead migrations of on-premises databases to Azure and other cloud platforms.
- Architect disaster recovery solutions using FCI, Always On availability groups, and Azure services.
- Perform query optimization, performance tuning, and troubleshooting for enterprise-level systems.
What We're Looking For:
* 4 to 8 years of experience with SQL Server (2012+), Azure SQL, and data warehousing.
- Expertise in high availability, clustering, and cloud-based database solutions.
- Experience with Azure services like Data Factory, Data Lake Storage, and IaaS.
- Strong skills in database performance tuning and query optimization.
- Proven ability to work independently with strong customer service, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Comfort in presenting complex information to clients and influencing decisions effectively.
