- Advancing and selling air travel to the traveling public or cargo forwarders
- Providing assistance with passenger check-in and baggage handling
- Interpreting government regulations and requirements for domestic and international travel or cargo shipments
- Meeting and dispatching aircraft within established times
- Providing assistance to upset passengers and customers
- Safeguarding company property and revenue
- Accommodating safe travel
What You'll Do
As an Experienced Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for:
- Handling customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner
- Providing information on flights, fares, and travel options
- Processing customer transactions and handling payments
- Maintaining accurate records and reports
- Collaborating with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives
- Participating in ongoing training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge
All You'll Need for Success
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Previous customer service experience, preferably in the aviation industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
- Bilingual language skills may be required in certain areas
- A valid driver's license and ability to obtain airport power and US Customs security identifications, if necessary
- Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to answer to manage an ordinary and timely basis
