- 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Technical Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or Functional Analyst.
- Strong domain understanding of Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Inventory, Procurement, Sales Order Operations, and operational reporting.
- Experience working with ERP data, preferably across multiple ERP/source systems.
- Strong understanding of data mapping, source-to-target requirements, business rules, data quality validation, and reporting logic.
- Experience with BI/reporting projects, preferably involving Power BI, semantic models, or enterprise data platforms.
- Ability to work with business users to define KPIs and translate them into measurable reporting requirements.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to bridge business and technical teams.
- Experience supporting UAT, report validation, and stakeholder sign-off.
- Ability to manage ambiguity and drive clarity in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Work directly with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Operations, Finance, and business stakeholders to gather and clarify requirements.
- Understand and document KPI definitions, business rules, calculation logic, filters, dimensions, and reporting expectations.
- Support requirements for SCM KPIs such as inventory, delivery, working capital, cost, people, order fill, vendor OTD, lead time, freight cost, PPV, and related operational measures.
- Partner with data engineers and BI engineers to translate business requirements into data mapping, transformation, semantic model, and reporting specifications.
- Help identify source system data gaps, quality issues, harmonization needs, and manual data requirements.
- Coordinate with customer SMEs and data stewards for validation of business rules, KPI definitions, and UAT sign-off.
- Review Power BI reports and dashboards to ensure alignment with business requirements and usability expectations.
- Facilitate requirement workshops, walkthroughs, validation sessions, and issue-resolution discussions.
- Maintain requirement traceability from business need to source data, transformation logic, semantic model, report output, and UAT acceptance.
- Support change management by documenting new, changed, or deferred requirements clearly.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric, data lakehouse concepts, or Bronze/Silver/Gold data architecture.
- Prior experience in manufacturing analytics or supply chain transformation programs.
- Familiarity with KPIs such as Healthy Inventory Ratio, Days of Supply, Aged Inventory, Cycle Count Accuracy, DPO, Order Fill, Vendor OTD, Lead Time, Freight % of Sales, Tariff Cost, PPV, Cost Savings, Headcount, and Attrition.
- Experience working with global manufacturing sites or multi-site operational reporting.
- Basic SQL understanding to support data validation and requirement analysis.
- Experience working in Agile/Sprint-based delivery models.
Education: Bachelor s degree in computer science, information Systems, or related discipline. This role is open to W2 or those seeking Corp-Corp employment.
