Job Description:

As a Senior Data Analyst at arenaflex, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing data infrastructure solutions that enable report automation for our Medical Services Quality Improvement program. You will work closely with our IT and data teams to ensure that our data foundation meets the needs of our business stakeholders. Your expertise in data analysis, data visualization, and data storytelling will help us drive business insights and inform strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

* Supervise the delivery of Walgreens Health data and insights projects and initiatives

• Uphold long-term and ad-hoc data ETL and data warehousing activities to meet Walgreens Health reporting and analysis requirements
• Plan, design, and implement layered data bases and data pipelines to support reporting and analysis projects
• Develop data governance and pre-processing standards for populating consistent and accurate data models attached to report-specific working tables for both project business intelligence and pre-defined reporting arrangements
• Apply data extraction, transformation, and loading best practices to integrate large data sets from various internal Walgreens production system sources and external records
• Perform data profiling and data analysis across internal production systems, manually maintained data, and standard healthcare data collections (e.g., patient segmentation, clinical cases, pharmacy claims, HEDIS ECDS records)
• Develop internal tools for automation of all development-related activities (data handling, QA, data approval, etc.)

Essential Capabilities:

* Verifiable, hands-on experience writing and tuning SQL-based ETL/ELT scripts

• Experience designing and implementing reasonably isolated data conditions using ETL/ELT services that include but are not limited to Snowflake, Databricks, or Sky blue Information Plant
• Experience providing technical leadership and presenting device rationalist semantic data layer upgrades connected with BI technology stage like PowerBI, Tableau, or Looker
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with technical teams, internal partners, clients, and vendor partners
• At least 2 years of experience contributing to financial decisions in the workplace
• No less than 2 years of direct leadership, indirect leadership, and/or cross-functional team management
• Ability to travel up to/no less than 5% of the ideal time for business purposes (within state and out of state)

Preferred Capabilities:

* Knowledge of pharmacy, healthcare, and clinical research concepts

• Experience with data visualization tools like PowerBI, Tableau, or Looker
• Familiarity with data governance frameworks and data quality standards
