Job Summary

As a Customer Service Specialist at arenaflex, you'll play a pivotal role in providing exceptional service to our customers and clients. You'll work closely with our Business Development Assistants, Business Development Managers, and other support teams to ensure seamless order processing, scheduling, and execution. Your primary responsibilities will include validating and executing Grocery Products (GP) order processing and scheduling, handling Distress Sale Orders, Will Call Pickups, and Order Auditing. You'll also work closely with our Team Lead to deliver outstanding results for our clients and contribute to our company's success.

Key Responsibilities

* Perform all tasks for processing orders, verification, and customer service with accuracy and efficiency

  • Oversee a variety of customers, including complex ones, and escalate questions to Supervisor as necessary
  • Group orders for largest truck loads for cost savings and bracket pricing qualification
  • Request appointments for loads as needed
  • Group and trip customer pickup loads
  • Address any potential order issues promptly and effectively
  • Gather and track order details and research any discrepancies
  • Provide timely and thorough communication with clients and customers
  • Work within the supply chain to mitigate inventory issues
  • Participate in scheduled calls with Hormel/Customer, providing feedback and insight
  • Communicate regularly with management, advising on critical issues or opportunities
  • Perform some training and vacation/out of office back-up duties

Essential Qualifications

* High School Diploma or GED

  • 1-3 years of experience in Customer Service working in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize duties with minimal supervision, to accurately execute detailed work to meet deadlines
  • Ability to complete multiple duties with accuracy, shifting from one to another with frequent interruptions and competing deadlines
  • Demonstrated Proficiency in Microsoft applications, with an emphasis on Excel, Outlook, and web-browsers
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience in the grocery or food industry

  • Knowledge of supply chain management and logistics
  • Familiarity with order processing and scheduling software
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and build strong relationships with colleagues and clients
