Job Summary

As a Shopify Chat Assistant, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer support to entrepreneurs and small businesses through live chat on their websites and social media accounts. Your primary goal will be to troubleshoot issues, guide customers through their purchasing process, and provide detailed product information. This entry-level position is perfect for those eager to enter the e-commerce industry and grow within the digital marketplace.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide live chat customer support to entrepreneurs and small businesses through their websites and social media accounts

  • Troubleshoot issues and resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner
  • Guide customers through their purchasing process and provide detailed product information
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and develop effective solutions
  • Work independently to manage multiple customer interactions and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Follow provided steps and instructions to ensure consistency and quality in customer support
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and provide regular feedback to clients

Essential Qualifications

* 10+ hours of availability per week to work on a flexible schedule

  • Reliable internet connection and a device able to access social media and website chat functions (Phone/Tablet/Laptop)
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple customer interactions
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to follow provided steps and instructions
  • Basic knowledge of e-commerce and digital marketing principles

* Previous experience in customer support or a related field

  • Familiarity with Shopify and other e-commerce platforms
  • Knowledge of social media marketing and online engagement strategies
