Key Responsibilities:

As a full stack data engineer at arenaflex, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining large-scale data pipelines and systems that support our business operations. Your primary focus will be on working with our data team to develop and implement data-driven solutions that drive business growth and improve operational efficiency. Some of your key responsibilities will include:

• Designing and implementing data pipelines and systems that support our business operations
• Developing and maintaining large-scale data warehouses and data lakes
• Building and deploying data visualizations and reporting tools to support business decision-making
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize data-driven opportunities
• Developing and maintaining data quality and governance processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity
• Troubleshooting and resolving complex data-related issues and providing technical support to stakeholders

• Developing and implementing machine learning models to support business decision-making
• Building and deploying data-driven applications to support business operations
• Collaborating with our data science team to develop and implement data-driven solutions
• Providing technical guidance and support to stakeholders on data-related issues
• Participating in code reviews and contributing to the development of best practices and standards for data engineering

Fundamental Work Obligations and Obligations:

As a full stack data engineer at arenaflex, you will be expected to:

• Understand both the business and technical issues that our data team is trying to solve
• Build tools, stages, and pipelines to enable teams to clearly and neatly break down data, build models, and drive decisions
• Increase from "PC scale" to "team scale" issues, in terms of both infrastructure and problem design and strategy
• Work with cross-functional teams to drive the creation of data-driven functional experiences that mean high-value streamlined solutions
• Deliver clear and actionable insights quickly, working with diverse teams of differing backgrounds and disciplines
• Classify best practices for future reuse as open, reusable examples, layouts, and code bases
• Interface with senior technologists from the broader enterprise and beyond arenaflex (partner environments and clients) to create collaborations and ensure smooth integrations to downstream functional frameworks

Expertise/Information Thought about an Or more:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

• Technical foundation in software engineering, programming, database systems, and distributed systems
• Sharp understanding of transportation and operations space with the ability to identify high opportunity areas and design approaches and solutions that create and capture value
• Experience in and knowledge of Microsoft Azure
• Knowledge of and demonstrated expertise in building CI/CD pipelines
• Creating and operationalizing capabilities and solutions including under close to constant high-volume streaming circumstances
• Involved development skills with the ability to work at the code level and help troubleshoot hard to determine issues
• Exhibited ability to deliver technical projects, frequently working under close time requirements to deliver value
• An 'engineering' mentality, able to make fast, realistic decisions to improve performance and speed up progress
• Comfort with working with distributed teams on code-based expectations, using version control systems and code reviews
• DevOps: regarding technology, should have all the knowledge like coding, pre-arranging, database, yaml, json and IaC (Terraform)
• Exhibited skill working with some of the following common languages and tools:

+ Flink (Scala and PySpark), HDFS, Kafka and other high-volume data tools + SQL and NoSQL storage tools, like MySQL, Postgres, Cassandra, MongoDB and ElasticSearch + Pandas, Scikit-Learn, Matplotlib, TensorFlow, Jupyter and other Python data tools
