The Role

As a Mechanical Customer Service Expert at arenaflex, you will be responsible for handling customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner. Your primary focus will be on providing exceptional customer service through active listening, empathy, and effective communication. You will work closely with our team to resolve customer complaints, answer questions, and provide solutions to various problems. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Handling and carefully responding to all customer inquiries
  • Providing excellent customer service through active listening and empathy
  • Working with confidential customer information and treating it sensitively
  • Aiming to resolve issues on the first call by being proactive
  • Appropriately communicating with customers
  • Calmly attempting to resolve and de-escalate any issues
  • Escalating interactions when necessary and appropriate
  • Tracking all call-related information for auditing and reporting purposes
  • Providing feedback on call issues

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Ability to work remotely in a virtual team environment
  • 6 months of customer service experience (preferably in a mechanical or technical field)
  • Over 18 years of age
  • Ability to type 25 wpm
  • High School Graduate or GED
  • Comfort with desktop computer systems
  • Proven oral and written communication skills
  • Logical problem-solving skills
  • Ability to navigate Windows operating systems
  • Organization and work prioritization skills

Nice-to-Haves

While not essential, the following skills and qualifications would be beneficial in this role:

  • Experience working with mechanical or technical products
  • Familiarity with CRM software and customer service tools
  • Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance
  • Certification in customer service or a related field
