Job Summary
As a Homesite Customer Service Representative, you'll be the first point of contact for customers, providing timely and effective solutions to their service issues, requests, and account information. You'll work closely with customers to research questions, open issue resolution cases, and resolve higher-level problems over the phone. With a focus on exceptional customer service, results-driven approach, and growth mindset, you'll be an integral part of our team, driving customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide exceptional customer service, resolving complex issues and addressing customer concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Communicate directly with customers to research questions, open issue resolution cases, and resolve higher-level problems over the phone
- Develop an understanding of procedures to educate clients and advisors on newly enacted services, facilitating efficient self-service
- Troubleshoot simple usability issues raised by customers and refer more complex issues to appropriate service partners
- Ensure that all relevant information is gathered and entered to ensure prompt resolution
- Receive guidance from coaches on a frequent basis to process requests
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of company or product policies and systems to provide accurate information to customers
Essential Qualifications
* 1+ year of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in the insurance industry
- Strong written and spoken communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers and colleagues
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on results-driven approach
- Experience providing customer-focused solutions or support, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues
- Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
* P&C License strongly preferred, but not required; employees are expected to pass their state's P&C license exam within 12 months
- Experience working in a remote or virtual environment
- Familiarity with insurance products and services
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively
