Responsibilities
As a full stack data engineer at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:
- Locating and extracting data from various sources to support business intelligence, analytics, and reporting
- Cleaning and curating datasets by identifying and addressing data quality issues, and collaborating with stakeholders to determine the best sources of data
- Developing and maintaining data pipelines, ETL processes, and data warehouses to ensure data accuracy, reliability, and scalability
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement data-driven solutions that meet business needs
- Troubleshooting data-related issues and developing creative solutions to complex problems
- Staying up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in data engineering, and applying this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement in our data infrastructure
- Mentoring and training junior team members to develop their skills and expertise in data engineering
- Practicing security-aware behaviors and adhering to arenaflex's data protection policies and procedures
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- 3+ years of experience in data engineering, with a strong background in data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, and other programming languages, as well as experience with data visualization tools and technologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex data-related issues
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- A strong passion for data engineering, with a desire to stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications would be a plus:
- Experience working with cloud-based solutions, such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
- A master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
