The Role

As an Experienced Customer Service Representative - Health Care Benefits Operations, you will be the face of arenaflex, interacting with members, providers, and other stakeholders to resolve complex issues, answer questions, and provide personalized support. Your expertise will be essential in guiding members through their health care plans, benefits, and resources, ensuring they receive the best possible care. You will:

  • Handle customer inquiries and issues via phone, internet, or written correspondence, demonstrating empathy and compassion in every interaction
  • Engage with members to understand their unique needs, preferences, and understanding of arenaflex plans, tools, and resources
  • Provide clear, concise information to answer unasked questions, explain member rights and responsibilities, and resolve complex issues
  • Anticipate customer needs, creating an emotional connection and championing for members' best health
  • Document and track contacts with members, providers, and plan sponsors, ensuring accurate and timely communication
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve rework and ensure seamless service delivery

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 1-2 years of customer service experience in a transaction-based environment, such as a call center or retail location
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and health care benefits
  • Experience working in a production environment, with a focus on accuracy and productivity
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion

Preferred Qualifications

* 2+ years of customer service experience in a health care or insurance environment

  • Experience working with health care plans, benefits, and resources
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology and health care regulations
  • Certification in customer service, such as Certified Customer Service Representative (CCSR) or Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR)
  • Experience working in a team environment, with a focus on collaboration and communication

As an Experienced Customer Service Representative - Health Care Benefits Operations, you will enjoy a competitive salary, ranging from $17.00 to $31.30 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
