Job Description

As a Ramp and Customer Service Agent, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing exceptional customer service to our passengers, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Working outside in various weather conditions to perform below-wing tasks, such as transporting luggage and cargo, stacking and offloading equipment and cargo, and marshaling aircraft.
  • Performing pre-flight preparations and security checks on aircraft.
  • Assisting with boarding and deplaning passengers, making announcements, and processing baggage and cargo.
  • Processing and securing passenger baggage, including handling claims for lost, damaged, or delayed luggage.
  • Stacking and offloading baggage and cargo using transport lines.
  • Performing other duties as assigned by management, including tasks of varying complexity to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Working in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple tasks and responsibilities while maintaining a high level of productivity and accuracy.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work environment, adhering to arenaflex's safety protocols and procedures.

Essential Qualifications

* Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and management.

  • Ability to work in a high-speed environment, juggling multiple tasks and responsibilities while maintaining a high level of productivity and accuracy.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to learn and work with modernized reservation systems.
  • Typing speed of at least 25 words per minute.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, twist, stoop, squat, reach, and handle objects.
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations.
  • Ability to work an adaptable schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to participate in paid training that may require temporary travel.
  • Depending on the work location, ability to obtain USPS Mail Handling Certification.
  • Ability to acquire airport security status.
  • Ability to communicate in English.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum age of 18.
  • Ability to work in the United States.

* At least 1 year of customer service or community service experience.

  • Ability to work in a team environment, with a focus on collaboration and mutual support.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities, with a focus on flexibility and adaptability.
