Job Summary

We're seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Part-Time Customer Service Associate. As a remote worker, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, handling customer inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner. Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Associate, you'll be responsible for:

  • Providing exceptional customer service to our customers via phone, email, and chat
  • Handling customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Registering sales on assigned sales register, providing customers with polite, friendly, and efficient checkout service
  • Drawing in customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with items and services
  • Settling customer issues and answering inquiries to ensure a positive customer experience
  • Modeling and offering customer service best practices with all colleagues to convey a particular and wonderful customer experience
  • Providing customers with polite, friendly, quick, and efficient service
  • Recommending products available for purchase to customers and suggesting upsell or cross-sell opportunities
  • Registering customer buys on assigned sales register, collecting cash and dispensing change as necessary; processing voids, returns, IOUs, discounts, and trades as required
  • Keeping counters and retail areas clean and well-marketed, taking stock, and maintaining records
  • Carrying out Organization Resource Assurance methodology to identify and limit benefit loss
  • Ensuring consistency with state and local regulations regarding controlled items (e.g., tobacco and tobacco products)
  • Developing and maintaining displays, including promotional, seasonal, and special displays, and resetting and updating as coordinated
  • Assisting with the division of food items (e.g., raw foods from pre-cooked) and product arrangement as determined by policies/strategies (e.g., raw and frozen meats on base retail areas)
  • Having working knowledge of store systems and store equipment
  • Providing customer service in the photo area, including digital ID photo service, banner print and creative machine, and special photo item sales
  • Taking on web order responsibilities (screens orders in Picture Care, handles requests (picks items), and conveys requests to customers as they arrive at the store)
  • Assisting with outside and inside maintenance by ensuring a clean, neat, and methodical store condition and appearance
  • Agreeing to all company policies and procedures; maintaining aware associations with colleagues
  • Completing special tasks and other assignments as assigned

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • To be familiar with reading, writing, and communicating in English (except in Puerto Rico)
  • To be prepared to work an adaptable schedule, including nights and weekend hours
  • To be able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • To have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • To be able to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • To be able to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

* A minimum of 6 months of experience in a retail environment

  • Previous work experience with arenaflex
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English (except in Puerto Rico)
  • Ability to work an adaptable schedule, including nights and weekend hours
