Job Summary

As a Full Stack Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you will play a vital role in supporting the company's pharmacy operations by accurately and efficiently processing patient and prescription data. Key Responsibilities

* Utilize pharmacy systems to retrieve patient and prescription information, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in data entry

• Fill prescriptions by retrieving, counting, and pouring pharmaceutical tablets, verifying medication accuracy, and checking for potential interactions
• Assist pharmacists in scheduling and maintaining work flow, including ordering, unpacking, checking, and storing shipments of prescription medications
• Register all related sales on assigned cash register, collect and handle coins as required, and take customers to the OTC aisle to assist in finding merchandise
• Handle telephone calls that do not require the personal attention of the pharmacist, including those to physicians
• Method (correct and resubmit) claims for third-party prescription services in a timely and efficient manner, and perform other clerical responsibilities as assigned by the store manager
• Assist and support the Pharmacy department on stock management activities, including ordering, unpacking, checking, and storing shipments of prescription medications
• Maintain knowledge of company asset safety procedures and document claims for warehouse overages (merchandise received, but not billed), shortages (merchandise billed, but not obtained), order errors or broken goods related to Rx capsules
• May assist pharmacists in administering medical services, including the collection and proper labeling of blood/urine samples from patients and other medical services as required
• Assist Pharmacy supervisor and personnel Pharmacist in developing and maintaining strong relationships with the local medical community, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers, through clinical provider detailing and outreach to healthcare agencies, retirement homes, nursing homes, and other forums for reinforcing growth opportunities
• Assist with outdoor and indoor maintenance by ensuring the pharmacy department is stocked with sufficient supplies, clean, neat, and orderly in appearance and condition

Education & Personal Development

* Earn and maintain PTCB certification through the unique PTCB training program and/or state required certification/registration

• Attend training and complete PPLs requested by manager and acquire continuing education credits
• Maintain expertise and skill in healthcare and pharmacy, including latest information and developments
• Through completion of the arenaflex pharmacy technician apprenticeship program, experience qualifies for 8 (8) college credit hours as recognized by the American Council on Education (ACE)

Basic Qualifications

* Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico)

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to pass a background check and obtain any necessary certifications or licenses

Preferred Qualifications

* Choose to have six months of experience in a retail environment

• Choose to have previous work experience with arenaflex
• Choose to have desirable math skills to fill prescriptions accurately, including counting, measuring, and weighing medications
• Choose to have correct computer skills
• Choose to have knowledge of store inventory management
• Prefer PTCB certification
