The Role
As a Technical Customer Assistance Specialist – Live Chat Support, you will be responsible for providing timely and effective support to our customers through live chat on our website and social media channels. You will be the first point of contact for customers seeking assistance, and your role will be to resolve their queries, address their concerns, and provide solutions that meet their needs. Key Responsibilities
* Respond to customer inquiries via live chat on our website and social media channels
- Provide timely and effective support to customers, resolving their queries and addressing their concerns
- Use canned responses and follow provided steps and instructions to resolve common issues
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex issues and escalate concerns when necessary
- Continuously improve customer satisfaction by providing personalized support and solutions
- Meet or exceed performance metrics and targets, including response times, resolution rates, and customer satisfaction scores
Essential Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g., customer service, communications, business) preferred
- 1+ year of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a technical support or live chat environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and provide effective solutions
