Experienced Part-Time Data Entry Assistant – Academic Research and Knowledgebase Development

We are urgently hiring a Part-Time Data Entry Assistant to join our team and contribute to our mission. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a hybrid environment, combining remote work with time in our Remote office. As a Data Entry Assistant, you will play a critical role in collecting, analyzing, and entering data on faculty, students, and professionals in the arenaflex network and their research into the arenaflex Academic Knowledgebase.

Job Summary

The Data Entry Assistant will report to the Senior Manager of Academic Research and will be responsible for managing data entry, exercising analytical and critical thinking skills to recognize patterns, and further developing their knowledge of the Academy. This role requires a strong and diverse skillset in relevant areas to drive success.

Key Responsibilities

* Evaluating and collecting data on arenaflex network members to enhance institutional knowledge and reporting

• Parsing between relevant and irrelevant data to ensure high-quality data inputs
• Enter data on job affiliations and contact information into Google Sheets and arenaflex Salesforce database
• Collaborate with the Senior Manager of Academic Research to develop and implement data entry strategies
• Analyze and interpret data to identify trends and patterns
• Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date records and databases

* 25 hours weekly

Required Skills/Qualifications

* Creative and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills

• Ability to maintain focus on time-consuming tasks, meeting deadlines, and prioritizing simultaneous requests
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• A curious nature with a strong drive to learn and grow
• Familiarity with the Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, etc.) a plus
• Familiarity with Salesforce (or related CRM software) a plus
• Basic knowledge of Academic Research a plus

Desirable Skills/Qualifications

* 1 year of relevant work experience preferred

• Knowledge and appreciation for classical liberal ideas preferred
