Job Description

As an Experienced Full Stack Data Engineer at arenaflex, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining our cloud-based data pipelines. You will work closely with our data scientists, engineers, and analysts to develop scalable, high-performance data solutions that drive business insights and decision-making.

Responsibilities and Key Activities

* Demonstrate deep knowledge of the data engineering field, including non-interactive (batch, distributed) and real-time data, as well as available data and data pipelines.

• Develop and maintain documentation related to all assigned structures and projects.
• Provide training and lead the implementation of complex projects.
• Perform root cause analysis to identify permanent solutions to software or business process issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop data solutions that meet business requirements.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines using Spark, Azure, and other cloud-based technologies.
• Optimize data pipelines to provide client personas, data science, AI/ML, and data visualization.
• Build fault-tolerant, self-healing, adaptive, and highly accurate data computational pipelines.

Basic Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, or related field, or equivalent work experience.

• MUST HAVE Technology skills (7/10 or higher):

+ Strong/Professional Spark (PySpark) using Jupyter Notebooks, Colab, or DataBricks. + Hands-on data pipeline development, ingest styles in Azure. + Orchestration tools, ADF or Airflow. + SQL. + Denormalized data modeling for large data structures.

MUST HAVE Competencies

* Collaborative, able to work remotely, and still be an interesting team member.

• Strong analytical and design skills.
• 7-10 years of experience in architect and design big-scale high-performance distributed systems.
• 7-10 years of experience in SQL Platform.
• 3+ years of experience in No-SQL Platform.
• 3+ years of experience in Spark.
• 3+ years of experience in data platform implementation on Azure or AWS.
• 2+ years of experience in CI/CD experience.
• Exposure to SOA architecture.
