Environmental Project Manager, Biologist
Job Description:
- Complete environmental reviews for projects subject to CEQA, NEPA, and Native American policies
- Prepare and/or oversee preparation of environmental compliance reports, program tracking, and provide program oversight
- Provide environmental planning guidance and project management for impact analysis support
- Collaborate with in-house biologists, archaeologists, and outside specialists
- Become proficient in QA/QC of data results and reporting
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry guidelines
- Coordinate with sub-consultants and project team members
- Assist leadership with budget and schedule tracking
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Studies, or similar from an accredited four-year college or university
- 3+ years of experience in field of study
- Knowledge of computer software (Microsoft Office, Google Suite, etc.)
- Strong problem solving and written/verbal communication skills
- Outgoing/team player with strong problem solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Organizational skills and attention to detail is a must
- Ability to works independently to quickly and accurately solve assigned tasks with minimal oversight, and also the ability to oversee and manage staff (working as a team)
- Ability to work in a quick paced environment
