Financial Analyst - $43.27 per hour
About the Role
This opportunity is for a Senior Financial Analyst supporting financial operations through data analysis, reporting, pricing system ownership, billing and payment trend monitoring, and process improvement. The role works closely with finance leadership and the Financial Operations team to improve accuracy, efficiency, and decision-making across billing, payment, and reporting workflows. This position is ideal for an analytical, detail-oriented finance professional who can work independently, review large datasets, identify trends and root causes, and translate complex information into clear insights for executives, clients, and internal stakeholders. What You’ll Do
- Maintain the core pricing platform and develop tools to ensure processes run with 100% accuracy.
- Continuously evaluate billing and payment workflows to identify opportunities for optimization, efficiency, and process improvement.
- Facilitate strategic discussions with stakeholders on billing and payment matters, providing data-driven insights and recommendations.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on data analysis requirements for new business opportunities, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Proactively identify new business payment issues, take ownership of resolution efforts, and lead work from root cause analysis through implementation.
- Apply a structured, analytical, and process-driven approach to problem solving and continuous workflow improvement.
- Design and improve reporting tools and processes to monitor billing and payment performance, identify risks, and support timely resolution.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration with internal teams and external partners to identify challenges, uncover opportunities, and implement sustainable solutions.
- Capture key insights from stakeholder meetings and independently drive actionable follow-ups through completion.
- Translate complex data into clear, concise, and compelling insights for executive leadership and clients.
- Develop deep expertise in underlying data, data models, and the business domain to ensure solutions are accurate, scalable, and aligned with organizational needs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Business, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or another STEM-related discipline.
- 3+ years of analytical and project management experience, including consulting, finance, business decision support, or strategy-related roles.
- Healthcare experience preferred.
- Experience applying AI tools to improve process efficiency and support workflow automation.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- SQL knowledge.
- Knowledge of Tableau, R, and Python preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and apply new understanding across industries, business models, products, and technology.
- Willingness and ability to investigate beyond obvious causes of outliers or poor performance and identify underlying root causes.
- Highly motivated and dependable, with the ability to work independently under pressure.
- Comfortable working with ambiguity, managing multiple priorities, making tradeoffs, taking initiative, and operating in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong time and resource management skills with a commitment to exceeding service expectations and supporting team goals.
- Experience working with business leaders to define problem statements and reporting goals, then delivering Tableau workbooks and Excel analyses that meet those objectives.
- Experience reviewing large datasets, identifying trends, and highlighting changes from established benchmarks.
- Ability to identify root causes of underlying issues, evaluate options, and implement effective solutions.
Annual Salary: $90,000
